Climbers were rescued from a Himalayan mountain after being stuck for two nights.

Two climbers, an American and a British woman, were rescued from the Himalayan mountain after being stranded for three nights at nearly 20,000 feet, as reported by Indian officials. Michelle Dvorak and Fay Manners were saved on Sunday following a failed rescue attempt earlier. The climbers used a pager to signal their distress, reporting that their essential climbing gear and food had fallen into a ravine on Chaukhamba III mountain in Uttarakhand. The women, stuck at an altitude of about 19,734 feet, faced deteriorating conditions due to the thin air. Despite challenges caused by bad weather, the Indian Air Force and rescue teams managed to locate and bring them to safety with the help of a French climbing team already on the mountain. Ms. Manners later shared a photo on Instagram, confirming their safe return.
