While the Russian advance toward Pokrovsk has stalled in one direction, it has continued in a southernly direction, nearly encircling Ukrainian-held territory. General Oleksandr Syrsky stated that Ukraine has stabilized defensive lines, and the Russian attack toward Pokrovsk has not made any significant progress.
