Israeli commandos conducted a raid on a covert weapons facility in Syria.

Israel conducted a daring commando raid in Syria, targeting a Hezbollah missile production facility near the Lebanese border. The operation involved airstrikes and ground forces, resulting in the destruction of the facility and casualties. The facility, known as the Scientific Studies and Research Center, was reportedly involved in developing precision-guided missiles for Hezbollah. Israel notified the U.S. before the strike and has targeted the facility multiple times in the past. The raid was intended to both destroy the facility and gather intelligence on Hezbollah's weapons development. The facility is believed to have been supported by Iran and was previously associated with chemical weapons production. The overall goal of the operation was to neutralize the site and prevent Hezbollah from obtaining more accurate missile capabilities to target northern Israel.
