Young artists in New York find a musical sanctuary while dealing with turmoil at home.


The National Children's Symphony of Venezuela and over 700 students from 38 countries participated in World Orchestra Week at Carnegie Hall, offering a brief escape from political turmoil in their homelands. Amid performances and cultural exchanges, the young musicians found solace in their shared love of music, forming cross-cultural friendships and finding moments of respite from the trauma of war. Conductor Gustavo Dudamel praised the students' courage and optimism, emphasizing the transformative power of music in challenging times. Despite political tensions and unrest, the students remained committed to spreading hope and joy through their performances, embodying the spirit of resilience and unity through music.
