Tropical Depression Jongdari approaches South Korea, posing a risk of flooding.

Tropical Depression Jongdari, which is being considered a typhoon in South Korea, is moving towards the country, posing a threat of heavy rain and strong winds. The approaching storm has already caused flight cancellations and coastal flood warnings on Jeju Island. Evacuation orders have been issued for the island's piers, ports, and beaches, with all hiking trails closed. The storm, with maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour, is expected to pass Jeju on Tuesday evening and make landfall near Seoul on Wednesday morning. The Korea Meteorological Administration has issued typhoon warnings for Jeju Island and the southwestern coast of South Korea. The storm is expected to bring heavy rainfall and disrupt flights and mail deliveries in affected areas. Jongdari formed near Okinawa and is expected to extend the ongoing heat wave in South Korea.
