The inquiry into the sinking of the Bayesian yacht off the coast of Sicily is expanding.

Italian prosecutors in Sicily have expanded their inquiry into the sinking of the luxury yacht, the Bayesian, by looking into the actions of two additional crew members. The captain, James Cutfield, is also under investigation for potential manslaughter related to the shipwreck. The incident resulted in seven casualties, including passengers and crew, during a storm off the coast of Sicily. The investigation is examining the causes of the yacht's sudden sinking and has placed two crew members under formal investigation, but it's important to note that this does not automatically entail criminal charges. The yacht was owned by British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch, and the cruise was meant to celebrate his recent legal victory. Those under investigation have since left Italy, and the inquiry is in its early stages, with a focus on charges of manslaughter and causing a shipwreck.
