When the Paris Olympics start, the Seine becomes his platform.

The director Thomas Jolly is preparing an unprecedented opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics, which will take place on the Seine River. Over the past two years, he has faced unique challenges, including navigating the river's currents and coordinating with authorities. With a budget of nearly $150 million, Jolly aims to create a spectacle that intertwines history, art, and athleticism. The performance will feature 12 scenes along the river, involving 10,000 athletes and 3,500 dancers. Despite facing obstacles such as weather and logistical issues, Jolly remains determined to deliver a groundbreaking and visually stunning event.
