Gazans have little to celebrate on Eid al-Adha.

The Muslim community in Gaza is facing a somber Eid al-Adha after enduring eight months of war. Traditionally, the holiday involves sharing meat with friends, family, and the needy, symbolizing sacrifice. However, this year, widespread hunger and deprivation have overshadowed the celebrations. Aya Ali Adwan, whose wedding was postponed due to the conflict, expressed a deep sense of loss and shattered spirits. The community's primary wish is for the war to end and for them to return to their homes.
