Satellite images reveal increasing devastation in Rafah as a result of the Israeli invasion.

Israeli forces are advancing towards the center of Rafah in Gaza, as indicated by satellite images showing military presence and extensive destruction extending over two and a half miles from the Israeli border. The troops are moving closer to central Rafah, passing the border crossing with Egypt and Gaza’s main artery. The widespread damage is consistent with Israeli military operations in other parts of Gaza. Israel claims that Rafah is a stronghold for Hamas and aims to eliminate the threat posed by militants. However, the city has also served as a refuge for Palestinians fleeing Israeli attacks. Hundreds of thousands of people have evacuated the area, with imagery showing a significant exodus from the city center.
