Harvard has reached a deal with protesters to bring an end to the encampment.

Harvard University and student protesters have reached an agreement to end a pro-Palestinian encampment in Harvard Yard. This resolution includes discussions about student concerns regarding the endowment and expediting petitions for reinstating suspended students. Unlike other campuses where police intervention was necessary, this outcome was achieved peacefully. The encampment, organized by Harvard Out of Occupied Palestine (HOOP), ended after 20 days due to declining participation and logistical challenges. Additionally, there were incidents of controversy, including accusations of antisemitism. Harvard's interim president will facilitate a meeting between the protesters and university leaders to address the students' questions about the endowment.
