Rudolph W. Giuliani, along with 17 others, has been indicted in the Arizona election interference case. The charges include conspiracy, fraud, and forgery related to attempts to alter the 2020 election results in favor of Donald J. Trump. Despite multiple failed attempts to serve Giuliani, he was finally served at his 80th birthday party in Florida. Giuliani's spokesman confirmed the service and expressed confidence in his vindication. The trial is tentatively set to begin in mid-October, and other prominent defendants are also scheduled to be arraigned. Giuliani and other Trump allies face similar charges in Georgia, Michigan, and Nevada. Additionally, Giuliani was ordered to pay $148 million to former Georgia election workers and subsequently filed for bankruptcy.
