Six years ago, Google signed a $9 million contract to develop an artificial intelligence tool for military use, causing internal dissent and ultimately leading the company to withdraw from the project. However, the project continued with other contractors and has now become a significant part of the U.S. military's efforts in Ukraine. The project aims to provide timely information to soldiers, but its effectiveness is uncertain.
