Zelensky Removes General Valery Zaluzhny, in Ukraine Military Shake-Up

Ukraine's President Zelensky has removed Gen. Valery Zaluzhny, the top general leading the country's war effort against Russia. Zelensky cited the need for "urgent changes" to ensure victory, replacing Zaluzhny with Gen. Oleksandr Syrsky. This shake-up comes amid intensified Russian attacks and tensions between Ukraine's civilian and military leadership. Zaluzhny had initially led a successful defense against Russia's attack but has faced challenges in recent times. It is unclear whether he resigned or was fired.
