Wim Wenders’ film "Perfect Days" centers around Koji Yakusho as a Tokyo public toilet cleaner, inspired by the unique and architecturally stunning public bathrooms in the city. The movie, nominated for an Academy Award, portrays the cleaner's life as a master craftsman and was initially conceived as part of a Japanese businessman's effort to showcase Japanese artistry and hygiene.
