Helicopter Crash Near California-Nevada Border Claims Six Lives A helicopter carrying six individuals crashed near the California-Nevada border on Friday night, and as of Saturday morning, no survivors have been found, according to authorities. The crash occurred around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif., approximately 60 miles south of Las Vegas. The helicopter's departure point and destination are still unknown. The National Transportation Safety Board and F.A.A. are conducting an investigation, with N.T.S.B. representatives expected to arrive at the crash site on Saturday.
