Deep Under Gaza, Evidence of Cells and Hostages, Israel Says

Israel says it found an underground compound in Gaza's Khan Younis, where it claims Hamas held about 20 hostages. The compound had cells with barred doors, a kitchenette, and evidence of hostages' presence. Israeli officials say the hostages were dispersed in Gaza, and some have been released. The compound was part of Hamas's vast tunnel network. The Israeli military provided a guided tour to journalists, showing evidence of the hostages' captivity. The compound has since been destroyed.
